Community Guidelines

The purpose of the Nice 2 Meet Ya App is to help people initiate and maintain friendships and connections in a safe way while being a member of Nice 2 Meet Ya.

In order to meet the aims of our group, it is important that all members feel like they are in a safe place.

By joining, you agree to follow the guidelines set out as follows;

  1. Be considerate and respectful of other community members.

  2. Be tolerant towards other people’s viewpoints; respectfully disagree when opinions are different from yours.

  3. Do not bully or make unkind remarks to other community members.

  4. Do not harass community members or troll and make comments to deliberately upset others.

  5. Treat other community members as you would like to be treated in real life.

  6. Respect the privacy and personal information of others.

  7. Share and participate in the forums and chatrooms but do not advertise services or post external links. If you want to share something that you think the group would like to know about – tell Admin who will post it for you

  8. Do not take screenshots of 1-1 chats and post them in the chatrooms or forums. If you have an issue or need to tell us about something, please report this to an admin but do not share any content/screen shots within or outside the App.

  9. Do not share any personal information including email or telephone numbers in the chatrooms/ forums or 1-1 chat. As a member, you will know that we do not recommend swapping personal contact details until after you have met in person at least 3 times. You will have opportunities to meet other members in person at workshops, events and during 1-1 meet ups and you will be able to share personal contact information after you have got to know the person better

  10. Community admins have the right to remove posts, comments, and members at any time. Members are not allowed to block group admins.

  11. Community admins will take action when they see someone not following these guidelines. Sometimes that might mean giving someone a warning; other times it may mean stopping certain functions on your account or banning members and removing accounts entirely.
